Job summary

Michael Page partners with a not-for-profit organisation in Greater Manchester to recruit a Management Accountant on a 2-year fixed-term contract. The role focuses on budgeting, financial reporting and management accounting, with a hybrid working arrangement to support flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in the social housing or public/not-for-profit sectors.
• Strong management accounting experience and budgeting knowledge.
• Professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or finalist status.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting and budgeting processes.
• Analytical with attention to detail and clear stakeholder communication.
• Proficiency with accounting software and tools.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Description

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Experience working in the social housing sector or the wider public/not-for-profit sectors
• Strong Management Accounting experience
• Part-qualified, finalist, or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Job Offer

• Salary of £47,000
• Hybrid working arrangement for flexibility.
