Job summary

The University of Cambridge is seeking a Management Accountant to join the Estates Division on a full-time, permanent basis. You will provide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis to support senior management and decision-making.

You will work closely with the Finance Manager and stakeholders to drive value and improve processes. The role requires a qualified accountant (ACMA/ ACA/ ACCA or CIPFA) or equivalent experience, with a proven track record in financial modelling,

  • Qualified accountant with strong financial planning, budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • Experience in business partnering and advisory support to senior managers.
  • Proven ability to design and improve financial procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for the Estate Division.
  • Deliver analysis and recommendations to support resource allocation and decisions.
  • Collaborate with Finance Manager and senior stakeholders on remuneration and modelling.
  • Enhance financial management systems, processes and controls.
