Job summary

The Park Centre for Breast Care in Brighton, part of University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, is recruiting a Mammographer at Band 7 with roles including potential Band 5 Trainee and progression to Band 6 after qualification. The post focuses on delivering high-quality breast imaging and patient care within a specialist NHS service.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering imaging across mobile and static sites, with training pathways available and commitment to NHS

Qualifications

• UK-qualified, state-registered radiographers welcome to train in mammography.
• Successful applicants may join as Band 5 Trainee Mammographer with progression to Band 6 after the Postgraduate Certificate in Mammography.
• Training posts including Mammography Associate training opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Join the mammography multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality imaging across mobile and static sites.
• Position, image and support patients during interventional procedures, ensuring comfort, dignity and safety.
• Provide compassionate, person-centred care and communicate clearly with patients, families and carers.
• Lead by example as a senior mammographer, share knowledge and support colleagues' development.
• Contribute to improvements in quality and patient experience.
