Job summary

The Park Centre for Breast Care in Brighton, part of University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, is recruiting a Mammographer for a full-time Band 7 post. You will join a specialist service delivering high-quality breast imaging and patient care across mobile and static sites.

There are training pathways for UK-qualified radiographers to progress from Band 5 Trainee Mammographer to Band 6 and ultimately Band 7, with opportunities for Mammography Associate training.

Qualifications

• UK-qualified, state-registered radiographers who wish to train in mammography.
• Attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Position, image and support patients during interventional procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Provide imaging and patient care within the Symptomatic Breast Service.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, families and carers.
