Job summary

Affinity Trust is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to help a gentleman live independently at home near the beach in Snettisham, Norfolk. You will provide day-time support during long-day shifts (07:00-22:00), assist with daily living tasks, and accompany him on community activities to enhance his quality of life.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and a commitment to consistent, person-centered care to empower the individual in his own home and local surroundings.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and the availability to work a long day (07:00-22:00).
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Support a gentleman in his home near the beach, helping him live independently and engage in activities important to him.
• Provide consistent day-time support during long-day shifts (07:00-22:00) across home and community.
• Assist with daily living tasks and accompany him on outings.

You will support a gentleman in his home near the beach, helping him to live independently and enjoy the activities and interests that are important to him. A full UK manual driving licence is essential to support his needs and enable him to get out and about. This role involves working long-day shifts, providing consistent support throughout the day and helping him make the most of his time at home and in the community.
