Job summary

Affinity Trust in Newbury, Berkshire, is recruiting a Part‑Time Support Worker (up to 22.5 hours per week) with a pay rate of £13.15 per hour. No prior experience is required as full training is provided to support people with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs.

You will be helping individuals to participate in activities, travel, and everyday experiences, enabling greater independence and confidence. Weekend and sleep‑in shifts are required.

Responsibilities

• Help people enjoy the activities and experiences that matter to them, while supporting them to live with greater confidence, choice, and independence.
• From accompanying someone to the shops for a pint of milk to supporting them to try a new hobby, visit the gym for the first time, or travel abroad.

• Be prepared to undertake weekend shifts and sleep in shifts as part of this role.
