Job summary

Affinity Trust in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist a lady at her home in Harkstead. The role is full-time (37.5 hours) with a pay rate of £13 per hour, helping her maintain independence and well-being through daily activities and companionship.

You will provide compassionate support, encourage social engagement, and coordinate with family and carers. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are required to enable community outings and appointments.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support a lady in her own home in Harkstead, promoting independence.
• Encourage participation in activities such as pamper sessions, hairdresser visits, farm work, driving tractors, social outings.
• Provide compassionate, proactive care and build meaningful connections.
• Attend training and develop skills to grow into the role.
