Transforming Support Coulsdon is seeking Male Support Workers to join Chipstead Court, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. The role is full time, with day or night shifts and a rolling two-week rota.

You must have at least six months’ care experience, a commitment to independence and dignity, and good communication. The company offers £14.00 per hour, a discretionary £1,000 annual bonus, 28 days leave and a fully funded enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• At least six months’ care or support experience.
• Commitment to independence, dignity and choice.
• Calm, respectful, reliable and responsible approach.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Understanding safeguarding, confidentiality and health and safety.

Responsabilités

• Support individuals with everyday living and maintaining independence.
• Help people make choices about routines, activities and lifestyle.
• Assist access to local community, appointments, education, employment and social activities.
• Provide health needs and medications support per procedures.
• Assist tenancy, finances and household responsibilities where required.
• Build positive relationships with people supported, families and professionals.
• Encourage confidence, independence and positive risk taking.
• Maintain accurate support records and complete required documentation.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and risk management procedures.
• Work closely with colleagues to provide consistent support.
