Job summary

Sugarman Health & Wellbeing Limited is seeking a dedicated Male Support Worker to provide 1:1 care in the client’s home, focusing on complex care needs such as epilepsy, diabetes, and brain injury. The role includes 12-hour shifts (nights and days) and a genuine occupational requirement for a male candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of professional UK care experience
• Experience with Epilepsy, Diabetes, or Acquired Brain Injury (Complex Care preferred)
• Willingness to carry out standard household and maintenance duties
• Valid Right to Work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities

• Epilepsy monitoring, Diabetes care, and Brain Injury support
• Housekeeping activities including meal preparation, cooking, washing dishes, ironing, and general cleaning
• Provide high-standard personal care and proactive pressure area management
• Promote daily routines, independence, and emotional well-being
