Job summary

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is seeking a compassionate Female Healthcare Assistant to support a lady with complex care needs at home in Walsall. You will provide companionship, emotional support, and help maintain independence in a safe, person-centred environment.

The role involves moving and handling, personal care, and daily activity support, with full training provided. Part-time/bank hours, £12.71 per hour, DBS required and right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 6 months of professional care experience.
• Right to work in the UK with correct documentation.
• DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Up-to-date CV with full work history.
• Soft skills: compassionate nature with strong companionship and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support to the client.
• Assist with moving and handling and personal care.
• Maintain all clinical needs with training provided.
• Support engagement with daily activities and promote life skills.
• Maintain accurate records and report concerns to the care team.
