Job summary

Cygnet Healthcare is seeking a Bank Support Worker at Walkern Lodge in Stevenage. You will work bank hours providing physical and emotional support, learning about individuals’ needs, and assisting with welfare tasks in a residential setting for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

The role requires 1+ year experience in a related setting, excellent communication, and a caring approach to empower service users. DBS check is enhanced and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a support setting with learning disabilities and mental health.
• Excellent communicator and a good team player.
• Caring and understanding with energy to provide a trusting, stimulating environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs.
