Job summary

Cygnet Taunton is seeking a Bank Support Worker to join our acute inpatient service for men and women. You’ll work across the male wards, learning disability unit, and cognitive services on a bank contract.

We offer flexible hours, opportunities for overtime, and regular coaching and supervision within a supportive team. Applicants must be able to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical & emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required.
• Safeguard.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for all.

We are looking for a Bank Support Worker to join our team at Cygnet Taunton. Cygnet Hospital Taunton provides acute inpatient admissions service for men and women and a specialist inpatient service for men diagnosed with a learning disability.

Your Day-to-Day… £13 per hour + 12.1% annual leave

You’ll be working with individuals within the acute male or female ward, our Male learning disability ward, or our new male neuro cognitive service line. Coming soon, on a bank contract.
