Job summary

Cygnet is seeking a confident Bank Care & Support Worker at Longfield House, Clayton, Bradford to deliver person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will work 12-hour shifts, provide physical and emotional support, and help service users access the community while maintaining safety and independence.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with and report on medical and welfare needs.
• Safeguard.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all.
• Support service users to access the community and participate in work, college, hobbies, activities, days out and holidays.
• Engage service users in tasks such as cooking and cleaning to aid development.

We are looking for a confident Bank Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding healthcare.

You’ll have the opportunity to pick up 12 hour shifts to suit you and your lifestyle, supporting our service users at Longfield House in Clayton, Bradford.

Located in the friendly village of Clayton in the suburbs of Bradford, Longfield House is a specialist residential service providing outcome focused care for adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs who may have behaviours that challenge.
