Major Incident Manager – Associate

Responsibilities

Manage major and severe business‑impacting incidents involving large‑scale infrastructure issues. Coordinate real‑time service restoration, assess business impact, drive incident communications, and partner with cross‑functional teams globally. Participate in post‑incident reviews, provide recommendations for process improvement, and advise on Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management practices.

Qualifications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for complex situations.
  • Ability to facilitate conversations with large geographically dispersed stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to remain calm and maintain composure in high‑stress situations.
  • Ability to translate technical incidents into business terms.
  • Enthusiasm to learn new technologies, make new contacts, and influence the way IT operates.
  • Excellent organizational skills and multitasking capability.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills and strong commitment toward incident resolution.
  • Capability to develop close relationships with executive departments and leadership teams.
  • Understanding of technology used in large infrastructure environments (Linux, networking, servers, databases, web, infrastructure, storage, cyber) is advantageous.
  • Understanding of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, racking) is advantageous.
  • Understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
