Job summary

Sense is seeking an experienced Philanthropy Manager to grow our major donor programme and secure five- and six-figure gifts. This permanent full-time role is based in London with hybrid working, managing a portfolio of donors, developing tailored cultivation plans and compelling proposals with the Head of Philanthropy.

• Experienced major donor fundraising, with a track record of securing high-value gifts.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
• Ability to develop tailored cultivation and stewardship plans.
• Proven ability to create compelling proposals and donor communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of major donors and prospects, providing personalised stewardship.
• Build a pipeline of high-net-worth individuals and convert prospects into long-term supporters.
• Secure five- and six-figure gifts from new and existing donors.
• Work with the Prospect Research Manager to develop insight-led cultivation plans.
• Create proposals, communications and impact reports that bring Sense’s work to life.
• Meet donors and present funding opportunities; represent Sense at events.
• Support engagement events for major donors and prospects.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and inform activity with data-driven insights.
