Job summary

Transport for Wales is recruiting for a rolling stock maintenance technician in Wales. You will carry out maintenance of Bi-Mode, Tri-Mode, Diesel multiple units, rolling stock, Locomotives & tram-trains in line with Vehicle Maintenance Instructions and safety procedures, to improve reliability and availability targets.

  • Indentured and recognised Engineering apprenticeship.
  • Understand and implement engineering maintenance and quality standards.

TheRole

The role will involve carrying out maintenance of Bi-Mode, Tri-Mode, Diesel multiple units, rolling stock, Locomotives & tram-trains, to recognised VMI (Vehicle Maintenance Instructions) and laid down safety procedures whilst playing an active role to carry out duties to ensure that the reliability and availability targets are consistently met and improved.
