Job summary

TRCGroup is seeking a Maintenance Technician to carry out planned preventative maintenance, attend breakdowns, and ensure high Health & Safety standards on site in the UK.

The role covers supporting multiple sites with equipment upkeep, repairs, and routine inspections. Working hours are Monday-Thursday 7am-4:30pm and Friday 7am-1:30pm, with a salary of £27,000-£30,000 DOE and a site location in Lye. This is a long-term opportunity with career growth potential.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained and City & Guilds Mechanical Engineering qualification.
• Teamwork across Engineering, Production and Quality functions.
• Experience with maintenance planning and Microsoft tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance and servicing as needed.
• Attend breakdowns to machinery or plant to ensure production continuity.
• Fabrication and/or manufacture of components for maintenance repairs.
• Regular inspections of grounds, factory, security and general building maintenance.
• Attend faults to customer site installations when requested.
• Ensure safety and integrity of all plant, equipment, facilities and processes.
• Assist with sub-contract maintenance visits and coordinate with Maintenance Manager.
