Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Daventry is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Power Systems Business Segment. This permanent role involves a 37.5-hour week across three shift patterns, including mornings, afternoons, and nights.

You will perform maintenance in a complex manufacturing environment, fault-find on automated lines, and ensure equipment is production-ready. Competitive salary £43,806 plus shift allowances, overtime, and annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship (Time served electrician or mechanical fitter)
• Experience in PPM techniques
• Experience of automated lines; Siemens S7 PLC knowledge is an advantage
• Experience with Safe systems of work (LOTO, Working at height, Confined spaces)
• Computer literacy (Maximo, Lotus Notes, Oracle)
• Robotics experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Undertake maintenance duties in a complex manufacturing environment, focusing on Assembly, Test and Trim areas
• Fault find and repair plant and machinery including automated lines, nut runners, test cells
• Ensure equipment functions correctly after job completion
• Complete PPMs to schedule
• Respond promptly to events and pre-empt equipment failure
• Raise spares requisitions and liaise with supervisor for approvals
• Support operations and train others as appropriate
• Follow safe systems of work including working in confined spaces/at heights/LOTO
