We are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a leading global aerospace manufacturing business in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional with experience in CNC machines, machine tools, production equipment or manufacturing plant to develop their career within a high-quality engineering environment.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will support the reliability, performance and safety of CNC machinery, plant and production equipment. You will carry out corrective maintenance, breakdown repairs, planned preventive maintenance (PPM), diagnostics, installation and refurbishment activities, helping to maximise equipment availability and minimise production downtime.
You will have a maintenance background within aerospace, automotive, manufacturing or a similar engineering environment, with practical experience maintaining CNC machinery, machine tools or production equipment.
A City & Guilds qualification, equivalent technical qualification or relevant engineering apprenticeship is required.
Experience of both mechanical and electrical maintenance, fault finding, breakdown repair and PPM would be highly relevant. Working knowledge of CNC machine repairs, machine-tool control systems and manufacturers is desirable. Experience with Mazak CNC machines would be particularly advantageous.
This role operates on a 5-week rotating shift pattern covering morning, afternoon and day shifts.
