Job summary

M-Tec Engineering Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a global manufacturer operating on a three-shift pattern (6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am). The role requires an electrically biased technician, preferably apprentice trained, with 17th/18th Edition knowledge and PLC experience (Siemens S7).

You will be part of a skilled maintenance team covering plant maintenance in a high-volume manufacturing environment, delivering reliable equipment performance and TPM activity.

Qualifications

• Electrical bias in a maintenance role
• Knowledge of 17th/18th Edition wiring regulations
• Experience with PLCs and control systems
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing maintenance

Responsibilities

• Keep machinery in safe, functional condition
• Respond to breakdowns and repairs (mechanical and electrical)
• Perform daily and weekly maintenance tasks
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance on all machinery
• Contribute to TPM processes
• Support new installations to improve performance

Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician to join a global manufacturer working on a three shift pattern (6am – 2pm/2pm – 10pm/10pm – 6am) shift pattern.

Candidates should be Electrically biased and ideally apprentice trained with relevant qualifications, 17th /18th Edition wiring regulations along with some knowledge of PLC’s (Ideally Siemens S7).

Working as part of a highly skilled maintenance team that covers all aspects of Plant maintenance, the Maintenance Engineer will be required to provide effective maintenance support within high volume manufacturing arena where continuous production is paramount.

• Ensuring that all machinery is kept in a functional and in a safe condition
• Providing a rapid response to breakdowns and repair accordingly (mechanical and electrical)
• Perform daily and weekly maintenance planned activities
• Ensure planned preventive maintenance of all machinery is carried out.
• Contribute to TPM process
• Support new installations required to improve performance.
