TMUK's prestigious plastics shop is responsible for manufacturing, assembly, and spraying of car bumpers, instrument panels, and dashboards. The shop operates as a 'factory within a factory' and supplies the main shop.

Daily responsibilities of a maintenance technician in the plastic department:

Maintaining PLC-controlled injection moulding equipment, including:

• Planned preventative maintenance
• Responding to breakdowns
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Component swapping

An attitude for continuous improvement (Kaizen) and a culture of fixing right the first time. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and enjoy the dynamic factory atmosphere are essential.
