Hotel du Vin Poole is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to oversee the general maintenance of the property and the upkeep of its facilities. You will manage the maintenance team and ensure that jobs are completed efficiently to meet guest expectations during their stay.

You must work to deadlines, liaise with contractors, and uphold health and safety standards. Experience in a similar quality hotel is required; electrics knowledge is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a maintenance department of a similar quality hotel is required.
• Knowledge of electrics and health and safety are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the general maintenance of the property and upkeep of its facilities, including management of the maintenance team.
• Proactively complete the daily job list and preventative maintenance schedules with attention to detail.
• Liaise with contractors and ensure health and safety compliance.
