Job summary

Hotel Du Vin Wimbledon is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to take charge of the general upkeep of the property, facilities and its maintenance team. You will proactively complete the daily job list and preventative maintenance schedules, liaising with contractors and ensuring health and safety standards are met.

The role requires punctuality, attention to detail and clear communication. Experience in a hotel maintenance environment and knowledge of electrics are beneficial, with weekend coverage

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance department of a hotel is advantageous.
• Knowledge of electrics and health and safety is beneficial.
• Must be able to work to deadlines and liaise with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general maintenance of the property and upkeep of its facilities.

Maintenance Assistant

Under 18's rate: £10.85 per hour

You always have the right tool for the job….! Taking responsibility for the general maintenance of the property, upkeep of its facilities and the management of the maintenance team, as Maintenance Assistant you are there to ensure that jobs are completed efficiently to ensure that the guest expectations are met during their stay.

You will be required to proactively complete the daily job list and preventative maintenance schedules with an eye for detail and a passion for fixing things!

You must be able to work to deadlines, be confident in liaising with contractors and taking responsibility for health and safety. You must be organised, an good communicator, and have excellent attention to detail. Experience of working in a maintenance department of a similar quality hotel is required and knowledge of electrics and health and safety are beneficial.
