Job summary

Lime Wood Hotel in the New Forest is seeking an experienced Maintenance Assistant to join the maintenance team. You will help maintain the hotel's functionality, efficiency, health and safety, and manage preventative maintenance.

A proactive hands-on attitude is essential; prior experience is preferred though full training is provided. Qualifications in PAT testing, electrics, plumbing, fire safety, carpentry, plant room management, or health and safety are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar maintenance role is preferred but full training will be provided.
• A proactive, hands-on attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance tasks as part of a small team under the Maintenance Manager.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship efficiently and safely.
• Work closely with housekeeping on maintenance needs and guest areas.
• Perform lightbulb changes and routine room renovations as required.
• Keep workspaces clean, safe, and clearly labeled with safety notices.
