Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a hands-on Plant Maintenance Technician in the United Kingdom to support preventive and total maintenance across critical equipment and facilities within an industrial site. You will work to keep production moving, identify issues, and apply practical solutions to improve reliability.

In this role you will diagnose mechanical problems, perform adjustments, test equipment after maintenance, and record data for accurate maintenance planning and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and practical solutions.
• Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Familiarity with maintaining documentation and inventory for parts and consumables.
• Comfort with safety sign-offs at start of shift.
• Desirable injection moulding experience and willingness to grow in a fast-paced production setting.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain equipment and facilities to support reliable production.
• Diagnose mechanical and operational issues, make corrections, and adjust for production and quality.
• Test equipment after repairs, changeovers or downtime to ensure safe performance.
• Record operational data for preventive maintenance and setup information.
• Review production schedules and perform planned maintenance when not scheduled for production.
• Support continuous improvement by delivering productivity, process and quality enhancements.
