Job summary

ATA Recruitment Ltd in Burnley seeks a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading UK FMCG manufacturer. You will perform PPMs and reactive maintenance across three production lines, in a fast-paced environment with 1.7 million units produced weekly.

The role emphasizes maintenance and repair, with PLC fault-finding advantageous. You will use a tablet-based system with a new CMMS and contribute to a skilled team of ten engineers, ensuring equipment reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong background in FMCG maintenance.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical components.
• Proactive attitude in fast-paced production.
• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Conducting PPMs and reactive maintenance across three production lines.
• Site uses a new CMMS and tablet device for job tracking.
• Maintenance and repair of pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, chains, sensors and control panels.
• Fault finding with PLC experience beneficial.
