Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance engineering role in manufacturing environments.
• Experience in electrical and mechanical fault finding on production equipment.
• Experience with conveyors, motors and gearboxes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical and mechanical fault finding on manufacturing equipment (Conveyors, Motors, Gearboxes).
• Performing planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
• Diagnosing and repairing production machinery breakdowns.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Working to maximise plant efficiency and uptime.

Salary: £44,000-£46,000 (OTE £50,000-£55,000)

Hours: Monday to Friday (45 hours per week | 37.5 hours basic rate + 7.5 contracted overtime hours paid at 1.5x rate per week)

Working Hours & Flexibility

About You

• Minimum 3 years' experience within a maintenance engineering role
• Background within manufacturing, production, process, food, packaging, recycling, FMCG, or similar environments
• Relevant engineering qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent/time served
• Mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled maintenance experienceStrong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
