Manpower (United Kingdom) in Leicester is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to own maintenance activities in a modern manufacturing and R&D environment. You will drive the Planned Preventative Maintenance programme, respond to breakdowns and keep critical equipment safe and reliable.

The role requires mechanical, electrical or multi-skilled experience, strong fault-finding skills, and familiarity with PUWER, LOLER and HSE regulations. Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:00, salary up to £50,000.

Formación

• Previous experience as Maintenance Technician in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Mechanical, electrical or multi-skilled maintenance experience.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing PPM systems and maintenance schedules.
• Knowledge of PUWER, LOLER and HSE regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Managing and developing the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme.
• Responding to equipment breakdowns, fault-finding and carrying out repairs.
• Improving maintenance schedules to maximise equipment reliability and uptime.
• Leading root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions.
• Managing contractors and external service providers.
• Controlling spare parts and maintenance inventory.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
• Promoting best practice in health, safety and compliance.
