Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group in Flixton is seeking a Maintenance Technician on continental shifts to perform routine and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery, supporting electrical and mechanical tasks, and working with the Engineering Team under the Engineering Manager.

The ideal candidate holds at least NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering, has experience in planned and reactive maintenance, and is committed to root cause analysis and continuous improvement, with a proactive,

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Experience in both planned and reactive maintenance in manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Support mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance activities as required.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Team and report to the Engineering Manager.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of equipment reliability and production efficiency.

Salary: Up to £53,000 + Excellent Benefits Package + Training and Qualifications + Overtime

Shifts: 4 on 4 off Days & Nights

Role Overview:

• Perform routine and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Support mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance activities as required
• Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering Team and report to the Engineering Manager
• Contribute to continuous improvement of equipment reliability and production efficiency

About you:

We are seeking a proactive and motivated individual with a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in either mechanical or electrical engineering who is ready to take the next step in their career.

We welcome candidates with a background in manufacturing who are eager for a new challenge and have experience in both planned and reactive maintenance roles.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to root cause analysis and problem-solving, possess excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues at all levels, and be a true team player who is keen to learn from others, share knowledge and support the wider team.
