Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group in West Bromwich is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Engineering Team. You will perform daily electrical and mechanical maintenance on production equipment, ensuring work follows Health & Safety instructions and site policies.

This permanent role operates Monday to Friday with a 2pm–11pm shift, offering training and qualifications along with an excellent benefits package. Applicants with NVQ Level 3 in electrical/mechanical fields are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Experience with fault finding and problem solving.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Experience in FMCG or fast-paced environments preferred.
• 18th Edition Electrical Certificate advantageous.

Maintenance Technician

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - PM Shift - 2PM-11PM

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be working closely with the Engineering Team and carry out daily electrical maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out in line with appropriate Health & Safety instructions and site policies.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be required to carry out daily electrical and mechanical maintenance on machinery and production equipment
• Ensure the work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations using Safe Systems of Work
• Working within a fast-paced environment, covering afternoon shifts as well as covering all the electrical engineering maintenance

About You

You will have qualifications either at NVQ / HNC or City & Guilds Level in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Maintenance. Alternatively, we will also consider applicants who have completed their apprenticeships scheme in electrical engineering.

Key Skills

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical or electrical discipline

• Experience in FMCG or fast-paced environments (food manufacturing preferred but not essential)

This is a permanent role based at our site UK Poultry - Amber site in West Bromwich, Monday to Friday 2pm - 11pm.
