Job summary

PHOENIX Medical Supplies Ltd. at Wakefield Depot is seeking a Maintenance Technician to own the upkeep of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems, including planned maintenance and rapid fault resolution.

You will work on automated conveyors, coordinate external contractors, and support technical projects across the site. The role requires lifting up to 15 kg and standing most of the shift, with rotating day, night, and back shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum recognised Level 3 electrical and mechanical qualification.
• Experience working within a maintenance department.
• Experience working with automated conveyor systems.
• Experience fault finding within electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Desirable qualifications: IOSH or NEBOSH.
• Desirable knowledge: Management of a technical team

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of volume picking machinery through scheduled maintenance.
• Engage and manage external contractors.
• Immediate response to any breakdowns with the production equipment.
• Assisting and manage the delivery of Supply Chain technical projects.
