Job summary

PHOENIX Medical Supplies Ltd. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for the Wakefield Depot. You'll maintain and optimise mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems, handling planned maintenance, rapid breakdown repair, and site improvements.

The role involves 41.08 hours weekly with rotating day, night and back shifts. Requires minimum Level 3 electrical and mechanical quals, plus experience in automation and conveyors. Presence of IOSH/NEBOSH is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 electrical and mechanical qualification.
• Experience in a maintenance department.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems.
• Fault finding in electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Desirable IOSH or NEBOSH.
• Desirable knowledge: management of a technical team.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of volume picking machinery through scheduled maintenance.
• Engage and manage external contractors.
• Immediate response to any breakdowns with the production equipment.
• Assisting and manage the delivery of Supply Chain technical projects.
