Proactive Technical Limited is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join the engineering team at a busy distribution warehouse in Bedford. The role offers the chance to work with advanced automation systems including conveyors, sortation systems, motors, sensors and control panels to keep high-volume fulfilment centres running smoothly.

You'll perform reactive and preventative maintenance, fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems, and support uptime by minimising downtime in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience as Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Automation Engineer.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with conveyors, automated systems, or production machinery.
• NVQ Level 3, apprenticeship, or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Comfortable working in a Panama shift-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Reactive and preventative maintenance on automated warehouse equipment.
• Fault finding and diagnostics on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Maintenance and repair of conveyor systems, motors, sensors, and control panels.
• Supporting system uptime in a fast-paced distribution environment.
