Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Ebbw Vale is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join an expanding manufacturing engineering team. You will support production, perform planned maintenance and contribute to plant improvements and installation projects.

Qualifications

• Time served apprenticeship in electrical/maintenance.
• Multiskilled with formal electrical qualification and mechanical experience.
• Instrumentation systems including thermocouples, level and loop control.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
• Experience with lathe, MIG welder and workshop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to production operations.
• Carry out shift-to-shift activities prioritising production needs.
• Engage with the engineering team to continuously improve maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdown issues.
• Involve in projects, plant improvement and equipment manufacture.
• Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance activities.
• Provide site support for building, facility maintenance and security.
