Job summary

Recruit4staff represents a well-established manufacturing business in North Wales recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. You will carry out planned, predictive and reactive maintenance across production equipment, diagnose faults quickly and support continuous improvement while upholding quality and regulatory standards.

The role features a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days/2 nights, 6-6) and a generous benefits package, with salary up to £62,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance engineer in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Time-served electrical or mechanical apprenticeship.
• Strong fault-finding skills on production equipment.
• Experience working to cGMP, EHS, and quality standards.

Job Role:

The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance across manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum uptime. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will diagnose faults efficiently, implement effective repairs, and support continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis. You will collaborate closely with production and engineering teams, ensuring all work is carried out safely, compliantly, and in line with quality and regulatory standards.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Proven experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a regulated manufacturing environment
• Recognised time-served Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills on production equipment
• The successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will have experience working to cGMP, EHS, and quality standards

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Multi-skilled (electrical and mechanical) capability
• Experience with HVAC systems, autoclaves, filling lines, or freeze dryers
