Job summary

Recruit4staff LTD is representing a well-established food manufacturing business seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Wrexham. The role focuses on planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response, and reliability improvements across pumps, valves and site assets within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

We require experience in FMCG maintenance and a technical qualification such as HNC/BTEC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance within FMCG environments.
• Experience servicing and maintaining pumps and valves.
• HNC/BTEC qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs).
• Attend breakdowns and repairs.
• Maintain pumps, valves and site assets.
• Utilise CMMS to log work and track performance.

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established food manufacturing business in their search for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineerto work in Wrexham

Job Details

• Pay: £50,000 per annum (rising to £51,700 after successful completion of a 6-month probation period)
• Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern (4 days then 4 nights)
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: Opportunities for training and development, support with further courses and salary progression, standard pension scheme, 20 days holiday, Overtime available at x1.5 per hour.

Job Role: The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), attend breakdowns, maintain pumps, valves and other site assets, work from the CMMS system, and apply continuous improvement techniques to support operational reliability and production performance within a food manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• The successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will have maintenance experience within an FMCG environment
• Previous experience servicing and maintaining pumps and valves
• HNC/BTEC qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• IOSH qualification
• Electrically Biased
• 18th Edition electrical qualification
• Steam works qualification
• Food Safety Level 2 qualification
