Recruit4staff (Wrexham) Ltd is representing a well-established food manufacturing business in their search for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in Wrexham.

The role will involve carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), attending breakdowns, and maintaining pumps and valves, using the CMMS system to support reliability and production performance in a food manufacturing environment. The position offers training and development opportunities and salary progression.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience within an FMCG environment.
• Experience servicing and maintaining pumps and valves.
• HNC/BTEC qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs).
• Attend breakdowns and maintain pumps and valves and other site assets.
• Work from the CMMS system and apply continuous improvement to support reliability and production performance.

Job description

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established food manufacturing business in their search for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in Wrexham.

• Pay: £50,000 per annum (rising to £51,700 after successful completion of a 6-month probation period)
• Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern (4 days then 4 nights)
• Benefits: Opportunities for training and development, support with further courses and salary progression, standard pension scheme, 20 days holiday, Overtime available at x1.5 per hour.

Job Role:

The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), attend breakdowns, maintain pumps, valves and other site assets, work from the CMMS system, and apply continuous improvement techniques to support operational reliability and production performance within a food manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• The successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will have maintenance experience within an FMCG environment
• Previous experience servicing and maintaining pumps and valves
• HNC/BTEC qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline
