Maintenance Technician / Engineer

Supporting the continued expansion of this advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing business, we are now seeking to appoint a new Maintenance Technician / Engineer.

With multiple sites across the UK, this facility has experienced an exceptional period of growth and positive transformation. To support this, they are expanding the engineering team to meet increasing demands from production and the wider facility.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working on advanced pharmaceutical equipment
  • Maintaining manufacturing, laboratory, and facility systems
  • Collaborating with a small team of three on a manufacturing site
  • Handling both mechanical and electrical systems
  • Taking on challenging and routine maintenance tasks

The position is Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, with an on-call rota (including nights) that is being developed, so flexibility is essential.

Applicants should live within one hour of the site and have access to personal transport.

Experience required:

  • Experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment, with responsibility for various engineering duties
  • Proficiency with electrical and mechanical systems
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
  • Pneumatic systems experience is a plus
  • Previous experience in a pharmaceutical setting is advantageous
