Maintenance Technician – Painting & Decorating
Location: Vale of Glamorgan
Contract: 27th January 2025 – 31st October 2025 (40 Weeks)
Hours: 37 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: Competitive hourly rate + agency support benefits

What You’ll Do:
  • Perform internal and external painting and decorating across 1,150 properties, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client standards.
  • Participate in a structured painting program spanning until September, focusing on residential properties in Penarth, Dinas Powys, Sully, and Palmerston (Barry).
  • Transition to painting void properties during adverse weather, maintaining flexibility in your workload.
  • Collaborate with a team of painters, ensuring projects are completed efficiently while adhering to timelines.
  • Maintain a professional and punctual approach, ensuring all tasks are delivered on schedule with a focus on quality.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Skills: Expertise in internal and external painting, with a strong eye for detail and quality finishes.
  • Qualities: Punctual, reliable, and a team player with a commitment to delivering excellent work.
  • Experience: Proven experience in painting and decorating, backed by an NVQ Level 2 (or similar qualification).
  • Requirements: Full driving licence; ability to travel across Penarth, Dinas Powys, Sully, and Barry; eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Bonus Points: Experience working on void properties or large-scale painting programs; Welsh language skills (or willingness to learn basic greetings).
