Planet Pharma is partnered with a leading medical device client seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician in Electrical Engineering.

The Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's site in Rhymney. This includes providing front-line maintenance and rapid breakdown response as part of a rotating shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement activities across various systems, including production machinery, chemical processing equipment, textile and conversion lines, air compressors, boilers, chiller systems, HVAC, Building Management Systems (BMS), and SCADA systems.
2. Conduct electrical and mechanical problem solving and fault diagnosis across the entire site.
3. Ensure health and safety protocols are followed by themselves and others during engineering interventions.
4. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and GMP in all work aspects.
5. Determine appropriate safety standards for new and existing equipment and installation methods.
