Job summary

Hariley Solutions in the United Kingdom is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to perform routine maintenance on a range of equipment including compressors, welding gear, and automated stock systems. The role encompasses preventative and reactive maintenance with some basic tasks to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will hold a formal engineering qualification or apprenticeship, be able to read machine manuals and have factory maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• A formal engineering qualification or time served apprenticeship.
• Ability to read and understand machine manuals.
• Experience with routine/preventative maintenance programmes.
• Experience of general maintenance in a factory environment.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine maintenance on machines including compressors, welding equipment, press brakes, cranes, laser cutting equipment and automated stock systems.
• Predominantly preventative and reactive maintenance with some ‘mundane’ tasks.
• Work as part of a winning production team and communicate effectively.
• Maintain adherence to safety and production standards.

Pay: £30,000.00-£42,000.00 per year

Job Description:

The work is varied as you will be carrying out routine maintenance on a variety of machines, including Compressors, Welding Equipment, Press Brakes, Cross bay cranes, Laser cutting equipment and automated stock systems together with a number of other machines.

Although the majority of the role will be preventative and reactive maintenance the successful applicant will be required to carry out the ‘mundane’ tasks.

To succeed in this position it is essential that you have:

• A formal engineering qualification or time served apprenticeship
• The ability to read & understand machine manuals
• Experience of operating routine/preventative maintenance programme
• Experience of general maintenance in a factory environment

It would be an advantage if you had:

• Electrical qualifications
• Fork Lift truck licence
• Experience of pneumatics (air lines)
• Experience of plumbing
• Experience of laying cables
