Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our friendly manufacturing maintenance team in Aldershot. You will be responsible for keeping a wide range of machinery running and supporting the build of bespoke welding machines.

In this role you will also help manage the site maintenance schedule to reduce downtime, identify improvements and work closely with both maintenance and production teams to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing/engineering.
• Experience maintaining manual or CNC machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders).
• Experience with production machinery or furnaces is beneficial.
• Hands-on approach with problem-solving skills and willingness to get involved.

Responsibilities

Job description

We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join a friendly maintenance team within a manufacturing environment.

This role involves maintaining a wide range of machinery, while also supporting the build of bespoke welding machines and site improvement projects.

Up to £45,000 DOE

39 hour working week- Overtime available

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Strong mechanical maintenance experience within manufacturing or engineering
• Experience maintaining manual or CNC machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders)
• Experience with production machinery or furnaces would be beneficial
• A hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills and willingness to get involved
• Mechanical engineering apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
