The successful candidate will support a small team and ensure building systems and facilities are properly maintained. Experience with BMS heating and cooling systems, boiler knowledge, and the ability to perform general building, plumbing, and electrical tasks are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in office building maintenance.
• Heating/boiler knowledge essential.
• Joinery and electrical experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain BMS heating and cooling system and perform preventative maintenance.
• Check and replace filters and manage airflow.
• Carry out general building maintenance (doors, lights, tiles, leaks, toilets).
• Perform general plumbing and electrical tasks and flooring upkeep.

Maintenance Technician (MAINT46640) Peterlee, England

Salary: GBP29000 - GBP33000 per annum

Due to retirement, an opportunity has arose with a commercial buildings company that are looking for a permanent Maintenance Technician to join their small team on an earlyshift. Ideally starting In November so there would be sufficient time for a handover with the current candidate before he retires.

Duties Include -

• Ensuring correct office temperatures are maintained on a BMS heating and cooling system, which includes preventative maintenance.
• Checking filters and Airflow
• General building maintenance (Doors, locks, lights, ceiling tiles, water leaks, toilets etc)
• General plumbing and electrical maintenance
• Maintenance of flooring, carpet tiles

An ideal candidate would have experience in working within an office building with separateunits. Heating and boiler knowledge is essential. Joinery skills and electrical experience is a strong advantage

Hours of work are Monday - Friday 6:30am-2:30pm

The role is a key holder role, therefore your own transport is essential, so you can be on site at 6:30am
