Job summary

JDR - Just Dynamic Recruitment's client, a growing commercial property company in Peterlee, seeks a perm full-time Maintenance Technician to join a small team and co-manage three large buildings. Start in November with a handover period; training will be provided.

Responsibilities include maintaining a BMS heating/cooling system (temperature control, preventative maintenance), checking filters and air flow, and general building tasks (doors, locks, lights, ceiling tiles, leaks, toilets).

Qualifications

• Experience with facilities/building maintenance essential.
• Familiarity with BMS heating/cooling systems preferred.
• Able to perform basic carpentry and electrical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct office temperature on a BMS heating/cooling system, including preventative maintenance.
• Check filters and air flow.
• General Building maintenance (Doors, Locks, Lights, Ceiling tiles, Water leaks, Toilets).
• Heating/ Boiler maintenance (BMS knowledge preferable).
• Plumbing / Toilet system maintenance.
• Joinery work.
• Electrical work.

My client, an expanding commercial property company, based in Peterlee, are looking for a perm full time Maintenance Technician to join their small team and co-manage 3 large buildings. Due to one of the team retiring in December, we would be looking for the ideal candidate to start in November, so there will sufficient time for a handover. Training will be given but experience in the following is essential -

• Ensure correct office temperature is maintained on a BMS heating/cooling system, which includes preventative maintenance
• Checking filters and air flow
• General Building maintenance (Doors, Locks, Lights, Ceiling tiles, Water leaks, Toilets)

Duties would include -

• Heating/ Boiler (BMS Knowledge is preferable)
• Plumbing / Toilet system Maintenance
• Joinery work
• Electrical work

Hours of work are a morning shift 6:30am -14:30pm Monday - Friday

The role is a key holder role, so you must have your own transport to be on site for 6:30am.
