Job summary

Hunter Selection | B Corp™ is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Merthyr Tydfil for a modern, high-volume production site. You will undertake electrical and mechanical trouble-shooting on production lines and perform electro-mechanical repairs to PLC-controlled plant and packaging equipment.

The role covers planned and reactive maintenance, with opportunities to support new machinery installation and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Time served multi-skilled apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
• Experience in FMCG or other manufacturing environments.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and Mechanical trouble-shooting on production lines.
• Electro-mechanical repairs to PLC-controlled plant and handling equipment including pneumatics/hydraulics.
• Technical support for plant facilities, including compressed air, refrigeration and steam.
• Planned and reactive maintenance; address breakdowns.
• Assist installation and commissioning of new machinery.

Role & Responsibilities:
