Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group operates a modern poultry processing site in rural Suffolk, providing high-quality chicken products for customers across the UK. The maintenance role involves routine and reactive care of manufacturing equipment, working with the Engineering Team, and reporting to the Engineering Manager to boost reliability and efficiency.

We seek a proactive candidate with NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering, open to working day or night shifts, and ready for opportunities

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering required.
• Experience in planned and reactive maintenance preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Support mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance activities as required.

Role Overview:

• Perform routine and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Support mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance activities as required

• Contribute to continuous improvement of equipment reliability and production efficiency

About you:

We are seeking a proactive and motivated individual with a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in either mechanical or electrical engineering who is ready to take the next step in their career.

We welcome candidates with a background in manufacturing who are eager for a new challenge and have experience in both planned and reactive maintenance roles.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to root cause analysis and problem-solving, possess excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues at all levels, and be a true team player who is keen to learn from others, share knowledge and support the wider team.
