Position: Maintenance Technician

You will be responsible for:

• Confidently interact with external contractors to coordinate repairs seamlessly.
• Work collaboratively with the team, understanding the importance of quality service.
• Sustain high energy levels while juggling tasks efficiently.
• Assist the management team in maintaining store operations, equipment, and facilities.
• Minimize customer disruption by coordinating repairs with minimal impact.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring all Tesco sites are safe and functional environments for customers and colleagues.
• Following the planned work schedule to achieve first-time fixes, improving efficiency.
• Working closely with team members, sharing best practices and knowledge.
• Performing general day-to-day store and property maintenance.
• Using mobile devices to drive work completion and updates.
• Representing the Tesco brand by demonstrating core values and maintaining a positive attitude.
• Attending local and national meetings, providing feedback.
• Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.

You will need:

• Previous experience in maintenance, engineering, or construction environment.
• Digitally confident in using tablets and managing emails.
• ONC or equivalent qualification.
• Full driving license.
• Health & Safety awareness.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of Office 365.
• Completion of relevant technical training modules.
