Severn Trent plc is seeking a permanent Electrical Maintenance Technician for the East Nottinghamshire area. You will diagnose electrical faults, perform testing, and maintain sewage treatment assets to ensure reliable operations at our sites.

The role requires a Level 3 electrical qualification, 18th Edition BS 7671, and a Full UK driving licence. You will work 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri, with a standby rota and company vehicle provided.

• 18th Edition BS 7671 qualification.
• BS 2391 Inspection & Testing certification preferred.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

We are looking for a permanent Electrical Maintenance Technician to join are team in the East Nottinghamshire area!

You’ll play a vital part in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of electrical systems across the East Nottinghamshire area on our sewage treatments works and sewage pumping stations. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults, using a variety of testing equipment to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

A key focus of the position is maintaining high safety standards. You’ll carry out site safety inspections, electrical testing, and comprehensive safety assessments to ensure full compliance with regulations and best practices.

You’ll also support the ongoing operation of sewage treatment assets, undertaking routine proactive and reactive maintenance to optimise performance and minimise downtime. In addition, you’ll be involved in the installation, servicing, and upkeep of essential treatment equipment, contributing to the long-term sustainability and reliability of site operations.

We will provide you with the tools and a vehicle to ensure you can do your job with us! With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week, working Mon to Fri, with a standby rota you will receive an allowance for this!

To fulfil your role a Full Valid UK Drivers Licence is essential. A level 3 Electrical qualification/time served apprenticeship. an 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification and BS 2391 Inspection & Testing certification are essential requirements.
