Severn Trent is hiring an Assistant Water Network Technician to join our Water Network Operations and Leakage team in Warwickshire. The role is field-based, with ownership of a patch of DMAs, and requires traveling with a company van and a valid Full UK Driving Licence.

You will identify and reduce leakage while maintaining health and safety standards. Ideal candidates enjoy outdoor work, can work alone, and are motivated to make a difference.

We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated Assistant Water Network Technician to join our Water Network Operations and Leakage team in our Warwickshire patch. You'll be taking ownership of a designated patch of District Meter Areas (DMAs). This is a field-based role offering a high level of autonomy, where you can manage your own workload while playing a vital part in identifying, investigating, and reducing water leakage across the network, with a key focus on health and safety. The role includes regular customer interaction, technical investigation, and detailed feedback to operational teams. A key objective for the team you'll be joining is to reduce unaccounted water within your designated patch taking a proactive approach to leakage detection. Additionally, you will be looking to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. You'll travel around Warwickshire, and you will be given one of our vans so you can do your job; this makes having a valid Full UK Drivers Licence an essential requirement for the role, so you are able to carry out your responsibilities! With this being such a critical role, we're looking for someone who can join us 40 hours a week, Mon to Fri, 7:00AM to 3:30PM.
