Severn Trent Plc is looking for a permanent Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the East Nottinghamshire area. You will diagnose and resolve electrical faults across sewage treatment works and pumping stations, conducting safety inspections and testing to ensure regulatory compliance.
The role involves proactive and reactive maintenance, installation and servicing of essential equipment, and working a 37-hour week Monday to Friday with standby duties supported by an allowance.

We are looking for a permanent Electrical Maintenance Technician to join are team in the East Nottinghamshire area!
You'll play a vital part in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of electrical systems across the East Nottinghamshire area on our sewage treatments works and sewage pumping stations. You'll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults, using a variety of testing equipment to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
You'll carry out site safety inspections, electrical testing, and comprehensive safety assessments to ensure full compliance with regulations and best practices.
You'll also support the ongoing operation of sewage treatment assets, undertaking routine proactive and reactive maintenance to optimise performance and minimise downtime. In addition, you'll be involved in the installation, servicing, and upkeep of essential treatment equipment, contributing to the long-term sustainability and reliability of site operations.
We will provide you with the tools and a vehicle to ensure you can do your job with us! With this being such a critical role, we're looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week, working Mon to Fri, with a standby rota (you will receive an allowance for this!).

To fulfil your role a Full Valid UK Drivers Licence is essential. A level 3 Electrical qualification/time served apprenticeship. an 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification and BS 2391 Inspection & Testing certification are essential requirements.
